Songs appropriate for a lazy weekend afternoon?

In plain sense, what songs you feel Jieqi should play on a laid-back weekend afternoon? What's the regular slot of JieQi recently?
There's one weekend when I spent my weekend afternoon in Pasir Ris beach whilst listening to JieQi's program. It's simply marvellous! Really "ling ren tao zui qi zhong"...let me tell you how...
From somewhere afar, I heard children laughing and playing, the seawaves plattering against the shore, the bicycles tinkling along the path, and smelt the wonderful aroma of the families barbequeing their food along the beach...whilst I listened to my mini-radio, read my novel, enjoyed my tidbits, and lied in my open-air tent...
Haha, think I'm going all nuts, but really the experience is so fab, I wana do it again!
And only during JieQi's slot, because that's when you'll get into the mood...

hey, actualli I have the same experience with Jieqi's slot. we were driving along Shears bridge when Jieqi's on. The songs that he play are so good eg. Yuan WeiRen's new song.. and other nice older songs (but the combination is good) that we went three round along the highway.. all the trees and buildings all look so pretty all of a sudden, it felt like I was on a vacation in another country!

Yuan Wei Ren's new song is "Chong Bo"? I think I only get to listen to it during JieQi's slot nowadays...last time always was "Zheng Fu", but they seem to forget other Fan Ren Er Chong Chang's songs *shrug*
But ya, the feeling is so good
Next time make sure you have enough fuel to circle the expressways for the whole of JieQi's slot~

No, the song is not Chong Bo. It is about eating dinner, about his ex lover asking him to read book of astrology, and remembering what he likes to eat.. using this everything-is-alright" attitude as a revenge on him. I like the song coz the words he used are very unconventional and heavy, though the melody is so-so

The Jieqi thread is the one entitled "Liu Jieqi's email? Anybody?" which is accessible via "http://www.sgforums.com/?action=thread_display&thread_id=15850"
Feel free to take a look. There are times when someone will post a message to inform us that Jieqi is unable to host the show on the coming Saturday. And... there are times when he signs an extra on Sunday afternoons and if someone knows about it, he or she might just post it.
Anyway, Hajime is one of the founding members of the Jieqi thread... It's nice to see old timers still supporting Jieqi like this. Well, he has his share of detractors but let's not worry about them yah?
and for Saturday afternoon, nearer the sunset, I look forward to songs like xin dong, hai shi bu yao shuo bao qian, xin bu liao qing, yin tian, re dai yu lin, yong qi... basically the slower songs. Sally Yeh's Shang Shi is also something I look forward to.
Just give Jieqi a try this Saturday. His time starts from 4 and last till 8 pm. Well, usually I tune in at 3.40+ because I notice the songs there have a certain Jieqi influence.

Wah u really knows how to enjoy hor? I like by Nat King Cole and by Nora Jones...and another one he used to play..can't remember the name though..the one in soundtrack..the english song..I also miss the one from Natalie Burks.. song..is it called ??
